A DEI Brown Bag Lunch Discussion: Building Empathy to Understand Each Other

During this virtual discussion, we will discuss emotional intelligence and the "Six Habits of Highly Empathic People" by Roman Krzynaric (2012). As many of you know, developing empathy for people seems simple and an essential part of our work. However, it is not easily practiced because we do not take the time to learn from each other and challenge our own unconscious biases.

We will challenge ourselves to combat unconscious bias and lean into having thoughtful discussions to influence systemic change within our organizations.
