About this event
Event-based volunteerism has been on the rise for many years as volunteers seek out low-commitment opportunities to fit with their busy lives. At the same time, little research has been done on shifts and trends in engaging these short-term volunteers. In early 2025, MAVA launched a research project to learn more about the current state of event-based volunteerism, including challenges, emerging trends, and strategies for success. Join MAVA consultant Lisa Joyslin for this virtual workshop to learn the results of MAVA's research and begin applying these strategies to your own engagement of event-based volunteers.
