Fostering Belonging during Polarized Times
About this event
In a time when our world feels ever more polarized and divided across differences, it is increasingly important to create spaces and communities of belonging where every person can feel seen, valued, and appreciated. Belonging leads to increased connection, productivity, and engagement. This session will examine how automatic judgments and mental models are developed and influence decision-making in the workplace. We'll analyze their manifestation in professional environments and the resulting organizational cost of inaccurate judgment and miscommunication. Participants will gain practical critical thinking techniques to evaluate their own assumptions and improve clarity and effectiveness in their professional relationships.
