Location

Arriving

Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport

The Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport has fourteen major airlines that offer service. Ten are located in Terminal 1 (Lindberg) and four are located in Terminal 2 (Humphrey). Free light rail transportation connects the two terminals.

Taxi service is available at both terminals. Airport fares begin at $6.25 ($2.50 flag drop and $3.75 airport access fee) and are $2.50 for each mile. A taxi from the airport to Hamline University will be approximately $35 to $40.

Public transportation is available through Metro Transit which offers both light rail and bus service at the airport.

Amtrak and Greyhound

Both the Amtrak train and Greyhound bus arrive at the Union Depot building in St. Paul. A taxi from the Union Depot building to Hamline University will be approximately $25.

To use public transportation, board the green line light rail at the Union Depot station and take it to the Snelling Avenue stop. Transfer to the A line bus heading northbound and exit at the corner of Snelling Avenue and Hewitt Avenue. Depending on the time of day, the cost will be between $1.75 and $2.25.


Public Transportation

Metro Transit offers light rail and bus service throughout the Twin Cities metropolitan area. Visit their website to plan your trip. Fares are $1.75 during normal service and $2.25 during rush hours. Transfers are valid for 2.5 hours.

Uber and Lyft

If you prefer to not take a taxi, Uber and Lyft are available transportation options as well.
