AmeriCorps VISTA Program
What is AmeriCorps VISTA?

AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteers in Service to America) is a national service program funded by the Corporation for National and Community Service

The mission of the AmeriCorps VISTA program is to create community-driven solutions to overcoming poverty.

AmeriCorps VISTA members serve with nonprofits, schools, or government agencies to expand the organization's capacity to serve more low-income communities, in better ways, for longer periods of time.

What do VISTA members do?

Members receive a modest living allowance in exchange for a year of service in low-income communities.

MAVA VISTAs serve across the state to develop, expand, or improve volunteer programming that connects Minnesotans to the resources they need to move out of poverty.
